Introducing the Aastra 610d, 620d, and 630d SIP-DECT Handsets

Aastra is pleased to announce the introduction of the 600d family of DECT handsets to the US market
Designed with the needs of busy professionals in mind, Aastra's new 600d family of DECT handsets help businesses keep their mobile workforce more productive and responsive while on the go. Expanding the handset offering of Aastra's SIP-DECT™ mobility solution, the 600d family offers a cost-effective communication solution for companies that require reliable, resilient, high quality, and secure wireless phone service throughout a building or across a corporate network with full roaming support, making it especially suitable for vertical markets such as education, healthcare or retail.
Consisting of three models; 610d, 620d, and 630d, this new family offers choice and a full range of features. These models include large displays combined with programmable keys, intuitive user interface, intelligent battery management, hands-free operation and multiple headset connectivity options. For enhanced productivity, these phones offer all the regular telephony features of a desk phone including: call transfer, call forward, call hold, call and message waiting indication, speed dials, call logs, among many others. Additionally, businesses will benefit from the automatic over-the-air firmware update feature that helps to reduce deployment and maintenance costs.
The Aastra 610d, which is available now, is an entry-level DECT handset that comes equipped with a large LCD display and all of the key features and functionalities required by most organizations. Its dustproof design makes it ideal for those working in environments such as warehouses or industrial workshops, in addition to any enterprise or office space.
The Aastra 620d, which is available now, is a business level DECT handset. It features a large color LCD display, a built-in Bluetooth® interface for advanced connectivity with cordless headsets, and the same dustproof protection available with the 610d.
The Aastra 630d, which can be ordered now with an expected ship date of late September, is an industrial grade DECT handset that offers the advanced features of the 620d handset, plus a ruggedized enclosure which provides full protection from dust and water jet ingress. Additionally, a dedicated emergency key and a ‘man down’ feature that alerts other users when no movement is registered makes this model particularly suited for workers in a variety of industrial environments or for security staff.
