Polycom CFO Exercises Options

Wednesday, February 6, 2008

After broswing through some finanical data on Polycom I noticed this interesting post From AP
(AP)
The senior vice president and chief financial officer of communications equipment company Polycom Inc. exercised options for 112,500 shares of common stock, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC Monday, Michael R. Kourey reported exercising the options on Thursday for $23.50 apiece, then sold all 112,500 shares on the same day for $25.25 to $25.40 apiece.

The stock sale was conducted under a prearranged 10b5-1 trading plan which allows a company insider to set up a program in advance for such transactions and proceed with them even if he or she comes into possession of material non-public information.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
I thought the stock was in recovery??? - I guess Michael has better places to put his cash...
