Ok... Some interesting news from the Digium Camp today- Digium/Switchvox Free Edition version 1.0
Install notes:At first glance the install procedure is the same as all the other distros- Download, burn, stuff the CD in to the drive and reboot...Once the installer has run it's course you'll be asked to set the network parameters of the system- In our case we have given the box a static IP - Simple- Switchvox Free Edition is installed and ready to go...
Switchvox Free vs. Switchvox SMB:
Since I am installing Switchvox free in our lab and we have many customers using SMB - I feel that it may be useful to compare the two. In this example I am providing only a 50,000 ft view of the differences in terms of functionality to the admin.
First Glance- Hey Look There is orange on the Web User interface- I guess this is a pretty good representation of everything coming together from an acquisition perspective... Digium meets Fourloop- Here is the spawn.
